Title:   5G시대 물리/정보보안 영역에서의 AI 기술활용

Bio:

Kyungnam Kim is Vice President at SK telecom, and currently leads the Security Labs in the T3K (Tech) Center and oversees SK telecom’s physical/information security products and R&D projects, collaborating with ADT Caps and SK infosec. He has more than 20 years of R&D experience in computer vision, machine learning, unmanned systems (air, ground, space), 2D/3D sensor fusion, human-machine interface, and video surveillance. He previously held research and management positions at HRL Laboratories (Malibu, CA), GE Global Research (Niskayuna, NY), Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard (Cambridge, MA), and several video surveillance start-ups. He led various machine learning, vision, autonomous driving R&D teams, and made successful technology transition to government customers (DARPA, IARPA) and industrial customers (General Motors and Boeing). He holds 60＋ publications and 30＋ issued patents. He received PhD in Computer Science from University of Maryland, College Park in 2005.

Abstract:

5G시대 첨단 정보통신기술(ICT) 기반의 스마트시티 구축과 융합보안이 새로운 트렌드로 떠오르고 있습니다. 본 강의에서는 물리/정보보안 영역에서 AI기술 활용의 동향과 SK telecom이 ADT캡스, SK 인포섹과 함께 추진중인 솔루션에 대해서 소개합니다. 첫번째 물리보안 영역에서는, 별도의 DVR/NVR 장치없이 IoT(CCTV) 연결만으로 서비스가 가능한 클라우드 영상보안 플랫폼, 행동인식/4K영상분석과 같은 다양한 지능형 영상 분석 기술들, 그리고, 5G 통신의 강점을 극대화한 5G 드론/로봇에 대해서 설명합니다. 두번째 정보보안 영역에서는, 5G/클라우드 시대에서의 정보보안 패러다임, 그리고 자동 위협탐지 및 분류 등 AI 기반 정보보안 기술들을 소개합니다.
